Je hebt net de masterclass Darmgezondheid bekeken en waarschijnlijk veel inzichten gekregen over hoe complex én beïnvloedbaar je darmen zijn. Misschien herken je jezelf in veel van wat we hebben besproken.

Bijna 1 op de 2 mensen heeft last van zijn of haar darmen. Van PDS tot de ziekte van Crohn en Colitis Ulcerosa, het is vreselijk naar om geregeld of vaak last van darmklachten te hebben.
Je sociale leven kan hier behoorlijk onder lijden. Pijn, winderigheid, een opgeblazen gevoel, constant naar het toilet moeten en altijd bezig zijn met waar het dichtstbijzijnde toilet is, het komt helaas veel te vaak voor. We begrijpen maar al te goed hoe moeilijk het kan zijn om hoopvol te blijven na talloze pogingen. Je hebt vast al van alles geprobeerd, van het zoveelste voedingsdieet tot vieze vezelzakjes en medicatie.

De oplossing zit niet in een aangepast dieet en ook medicatie is meestal een tijdelijke oplossing of biedt slechts tijdelijke verlichting. Doseringen moeten omhoog, je krijgt te maken met bijwerkingen of je probeert toch weer een ander dieet. Soms zelfs een (zoveelste) operatie.

Niks lijkt te helpen. Lokaal je probleem aanpakken is ook niet de oplossing.
